Exclusive Bruxism Webinar for Digiturk Employees from BAU Dental Hospital

BAU Dental Hospital, which continues awareness-raising efforts for oral and dental health, organized a special webinar for Digiturk employees as part of Oral and Dental Health Week. The event, titled “Teeth Grinding (Bruxism),” addressed the causes, symptoms, and treatment methods of bruxism.
Throughout the webinar, the effects of the commonly seen problem of teeth grinding and clenching on oral and dental health were detailed. It was emphasized that bruxism, which arises especially in connection with stress, a hectic work pace, and sleep disorders, can lead to wear on the teeth, pain in the jaw joint, and discomfort in the head and neck region over time. Participants were informed about the importance of early recognition of these symptoms in the treatment process.
The presentation conducted by BAU Dental Hospital specialists also covered the diagnosis process of bruxism and current treatment approaches. Topics such as the use of night guards, stress management, the establishment of correct oral habits, and the application of multidisciplinary treatment methods when necessary were addressed through examples. The webinar was supported with practical suggestions that participants could implement in their daily lives.
During the event, questions from Digiturk employees were answered to increase individual awareness. Participants were informed that the habit of teeth grinding can affect not only the teeth but also overall quality of life. This approach once again highlighted the importance of preventive dentistry practices.
Such training sessions, carried out through corporate partnerships, are an important part of BAU Dental Hospital's understanding of social responsibility. The dissemination of accurate information regarding oral and dental health to individuals working in various fields contributes to the spread of health awareness.
BAU Dental Hospital continues its informative work in the field of oral and dental health with its expert staff and scientific approach. The bruxism webinar held for Digiturk employees as part of Oral and Dental Health Week stands out as one of the successful examples of this approach at the corporate level.
